Dr. Byerly
Dr. Carrie Byerly grew up on a farm north of Westfield, raising cattle, sheep, and hogs. She was a 10 year 4H member and very active in her church and community. After graduating in 2000, she attended Purdue where she was a member of the AAMB marching band. She also obtained her DVM from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Byerly and her husband, Nate, moved to Corydon, Iowa after graduation and she practiced large and small animal medicine. Injuries forced her to quit doing large animal work and she began to focus on small animal work. They moved back to Indiana in 2014 and settled in Kokomo. They have two beautiful children, Clara and Joe, as well as a golden retriever named Comet and a cat named Boots. In her spare time, Dr. Byerly enjoys gardening, camping, working out, reading, and music. She is very excited to be a member of the Northeast family and can’t wait to meet your furry kids!DVMDr. RigsbyDr. Katie Rigsby grew up in Kokomo, IN & graduated from Northwestern High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Purdue University, where she went on to work for Merial Veterinary Pharmaceuticals for 8 years. While there, she served as a pharmaceutical sales representative and a sales trainer in Atlanta, GA & Cincinnati, OH. She then went on to graduate from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM. Shortly after graduation, her and her husband Mitchell moved back to Kokomo, IN. She has been practicing in Kokomo for almost 12 years, finding her passion in helping animals and pet owners. She and her husband have been married since December 2006. They enjoy spending time with their two children Ansley & Tripp & their 2 dogs & 1 cat, running half marathons, & managing their dog boarding facility. Katie is a member of the IVMA & AVMA. She has also served the community volunteering at her church, the Kokomo Humane Society, and the Kokomo Rescue Mission. She is very excited to be on the Northeast team.
DVMAmy Mcginnis
Amy McGinnis is the Clinic Manager/RVT at Northeast Animal Clinic. She has lived in Kokomo, Indiana her whole life.
Animals have always been a great love of hers. When Amy is not taking care of animals, she enjoys working out, being with family, and relaxing at her country home with her husband Joe and two furry kids, Bella and Piper.

My hobbies are camping , crafts , and loving on every animal that come through the door !StaffMarilynMarilyn Ayers is front office staff with many years in the veterinary field, since 2001.
I enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting veterinary software to make the office run smoother. The best part of my job is seeing all our four legged patients and their owners.
My husband & I share a home with our pride of four cats. StaffGabbyGabby has been with Northeast Animal Clinic since 2019. She helps with reception, kennels, and assisting the techs. Gabby enjoys spending time with her dogs Lucy and Henry.Receptionist
Rebecca DotterweichRebecca came to work at Northeast Animal Clinic in 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant after graduating from Harrison college with a degree in Veterinary Technology close to her hometown of St. Anthony Indiana. In her spare time she likes to take walks with her daughter Rwby and two dogs, Roxie and Winston. Rebecca loves all our clients and taking care of their pets.Veterinary AssistantKyle QuillinKyle is an RVT here at Northeast Animal Clinic and has been here for 4 years. He lives in Noblesville with his amazing wife, Jana, and their adorable son, Connor who is a crazy toddler. Together, they also have 3 dogs and 4 cats. Kyle graduated from Harrison College back in 2012 and finally found his unicorn clinic with all of his now extended family here in Kokomo. Kyle and his wife also have a deep love of Disney and Disney Parks and have gone multiple times. They cannot wait to take Connor to Disney World for the first time.
RVTDr. AzuaDr. Azua was born and raised in Salinas, California. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a specialization in equine science from St. Andrews University in NC. She graduated from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine with awards in Shelter Medicine. Upon graduation from veterinary school and attaining her DVM, Dr. Azua worked primarily as a shelter and HVHQSN veterinarian.
Currently, she works part time at Northeast Animal Clinic and at a HVHQSN non- profit clinic. In her free time, Dr. Azua enjoys spending time with friends and giving all the love to her adorable pit bull, Dot Dot. Dr. Azua is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.DVMEmily McClishWith 14 years of experience in customer service, I bring a passion for building meaningful connections and delivering exceptional care. My love for animals, especially my cocker spaniel Kylo Ren, reflects my compassionate nature. I've been part of this clinic since 2017, first as a client and now as a proud member of the team.
