Dr. Byerly
Dr. Carrie Byerly grew up on a farm north of Westfield, raising cattle, sheep, and hogs. She was a 10 year 4H member and very active in her church and community. After graduating in 2000, she attended Purdue where she was a member of the AAMB marching band. She also obtained her DVM from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Byerly and her husband, Nate, moved to Corydon, Iowa after graduation and she practiced large and small animal medicine. Injuries forced her to quit doing large animal work and she began to focus on small animal work. They moved back to Indiana in 2014 and settled in Kokomo. They have two beautiful children, Clara and Joe, as well as a golden retriever named Comet and a cat named Boots. In her spare time, Dr. Byerly enjoys gardening, camping, working out, reading, and music. She is very excited to be a member of the Northeast family and can’t wait to meet your furry kids!
