Dr. Rigsby

Dr. Katie Rigsby grew up in Kokomo, IN & graduated from Northwestern High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, where she went on to work for Merial Veterinary Pharmaceuticals for 8 years. While there, she served as a pharmaceutical sales representative and a sales trainer in Atlanta, GA & Cincinnati, OH. She then went on to graduate from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM. Shortly after graduation, her and her husband Mitchell moved back to Kokomo, IN. She has been practicing in Kokomo for almost 12 years, finding her passion in helping animals and pet owners. She and her husband have been married since December 2006. They enjoy spending time with their two children Ansley & Tripp & their 2 dogs & 1 cat, running half marathons, & managing their dog boarding facility. Katie is a member of the IVMA & AVMA. She has also served the community volunteering at her church, the Kokomo Humane Society, and the Kokomo Rescue Mission. She is very excited to be on the Northeast team.
